In the 1970s, Glenn Poor’s combined high-end audio with quality projection devices and televisions to create some of the first systems that would later be known as “home-theater.” We continue that tradition today by offering some of the finest brands in OLED technology, high end 4K projectors, home theater amplifiers and pre-amp processors, and speaker systems. We have two rooms of our store dedicated to home theater systems, and like everything at Glenn Poor’s, we focus on quality products that will maintain their value for a long time.
LG: LG is one of the largest manufacturers of flat panel televisions, and has been one of the best when integrating the latest technologies into their sets. LG makes all the major components (plasma glass, LCD panels, etc.) for their sets, making them a great value as well as a great product.
SONY: Sony is a pioneer in video production and playback. The biggest movies are shot on Sony cameras, mastered through Sony audio, and our offerings of Sony 4K TVs, projectors, and vaults give you the chance to experience everything the director intended.
Trinnov: A relatively new company, founded in 2000 in Paris. Trinnov has been a huge innovator in spatial audio, and DSP room correction. Their Altitude series A/V Preamp/Processors are our absolute top pick for people serious about getting the best from their home theaters. Miller & Kreisel: M&K is a Danish company known for their incredible loudspeaker designs. The company got its first break in 1973 when Walter Becker of Steely Dan commissioned them to design and build a studio reference subwoofer and monitoring system for the Pretzel Logic LP mixing sessions. The results can be heard for yourself on this top selling and highly regarded record. In addition to offering the best theater loudspeakers on the market, M&K is a pioneer in the industry of professional audio. M&K speakers were used for the sound production on Star Wars episodes I-III, along with countless other award-winning music, film, and television productions.
DA-LITE: Based in Warsaw, Indiana, Da-Lite has been designing, manufacturing and marketing the most comprehensive line of projection screens in the world for over 100 years. Today, they offer the widest selection ever of proprietary projection screen fabrics and materials in their company's history.
