1982 JBL 4344, $12,000 a rare to find but incredible speaker. This was JBL's top full range studio monitor produced in the early 80's. This model comes from a long running series of speakers that were frequently updated. They are 4 way speakers, with a frequency response range of about 32hz -15khz. incredibly dynamic, and with an absolutely massive soundstage, if you love listening to rock or orchestral music at concert levels, I truly cannot think of a better speaker that I've ever experienced. Produced in 1982, the original MSRP of these speakers was around $17,000, and they were almost exclusively marketed and sold to professional recording engineers and interestingly enough they were popular in the Japanese consumer market as well. This particular pair came to us on trade in, and has all of the original drivers, which are impedance matched, and the original wave guides over the horn loaded tweeters. You will struggle to find a lot of information about these online, but we know a ton about them. Give us a call or come by our store to discuss them further or hear them for yourself. You definitely won't regret it, these are worth hearing. Due to their size and weight (220 lbs each) they are available for local pickup only. These speakers need a fair bit of power to drive, if you wanted to pair them with the aforementioned McIntosh MA-8000, we would sell you that as a packaged set for $15,000. That's less than you often find these speakers going for on their own in this good of condition.

McIntosh MA-8000 solid state integrated amplifier, $6000 talk about pounds per dollar (99.9 lbs), this fabulous solid state integrated amplifier from McIntosh also offers incredible power output at 300WPC into 8 ohms. Now discontinued in 2017, this particular unit was traded in by a meticulous audiophile, and is in pristine condition. This integrated amp features an 8 band EQ, and 15 total inputs - including 6 unbalanced, 2 balanced, 2 phono and 5 digital. original MSRP was $11,000. Included with this unit are the boxes, manual, remote, and all other original accessories.

Dynaudio Contour S 5.4 Loudspeakers, $5000. These are a truly remarkable sounding set of speakers, from one of the very best in the business. These speakers are particularly special due to their use of first order crossovers, giving them linear crossover roll-off, and true time and phase alignment, making them incredibly accurate.
