At Glenn Poor's, we are constantly trying new products in the high end audio and video market in order to find what we feel are the best values. All the products that we have in our showrooms reflect our desire for high quality while maintaining a reasonable price/performance ratio. Here are some of the brands and products that we proudly carry in our store:

Grado Labs: Grado Labs was founded by Joseph Grado (1924-2015) in 1953 in Brooklyn. Over the past 61 years, Grado has become famous for their remarkable headphone and phono cartridge designs. Joseph Grado is responsible for more innovations in phono cartridge design than any other person in our lifetime, inventing the stereo moving coil phono cartridge and holding more than 48 patents.

Hana: When an OEM house distributes their own brand, they reserve their best efforts for themselves and Excel is no exception. Hana, translated as “brilliant and gorgeous” represents Excel’s best materials including alnico magnets, cross-shaped armatures, and proprietary manufacturing processes. They have excelled at creating MC cartridges noted worldwide for their sound and value, which retain their “musical magic” regardless of their phono stage pairing.

Koetsu Cartridges: Koetsu cartridges are considered by many the standard in high-end phono cartridges. Lavish in appearance and astounding in performance, Koetsu products offer unmatched tonal balance, uncanny imaging, and detail beyond your highest expectations.

Mo-Fi: Drawing on five decades of making the world’s best-sounding records at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab studios, Mobile Fidelity electronics focus on improving the sonic integrity of home-audio reproduction. Each product is the result of collaboration with some of the industry’s finest engineers and stems from years of studio experience. Our turntables, cartridges, and phono preamplifiers are designed to spotlight what Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab continues to do with its famous Original Master Recordings: Getting you closer to what the original artist intended.

Ortofon: Today, Ortofon is a fine mechanical powerhouse, which develops, manufactures and markets the world acclaimed Ortofon cartridges and components for the hearing aids industry. The company has always been working with sound reproduction. Founded in Copenhagen, it initially made soundtracks for movies. In 1948 Ortofon developed its first moving coil cartridge, since then more than 300 different cartridges have been developed and manufactured, with our latest being MC A95 Anniversary cartridge.

Soundsmith: Soundsmith is a specialty audio manufacturer located about an hour north of New York City. Founded in 1972, Soundsmith has achieved an enviable reputation in the audiophile world for outstanding sonic quality and extremely high-value products. Perhaps best known now for their work restoring cartridges and for their Strain Gauge and Fixed Coil cartridges, every Soundsmith product is hand-crafted in Soundsmith's Peekskill, NY factory by a carefully selected team of artisans and engineers.
